⚠️ SheetPilot provides a professional implementation service. Once development work has commenced, refunds are not available for work already performed. Please read this policy carefully before making payment.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 1 April 2025  ·  Effective date: 1 April 2025
SheetPilot  ·  Bangalore, Karnataka, India  ·  support@sheetpilot.in

1. Overview

SheetPilot provides a done-for-you Google Sheets automation implementation service. Because our work involves significant professional time and custom development from Day 1, our refund policy reflects the stage at which cancellation occurs.

We encourage all prospective clients to attend the free 30-minute audit call, review the proposal, and ask all questions before making any payment. This ensures full alignment before work begins.

2. Refund Summary

N/A N/A
After advance payment, before work starts

Non-refundable Not charged
After go-live (Day 5+)

Non-refundable Non-refundable

Non-refundable once work has started

3. Cancellation Before Work Commences

If you wish to cancel after making the advance payment but before SheetPilot has begun the audit or development work (i.e., within 24 hours of payment and before the scheduled Day 1 audit call), you are entitled to a full refund of the advance payment.

To request this refund, contact us via WhatsApp or email within 24 hours of making payment. Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days via the original payment method.

4. Cancellation After Work Has Commenced

Once the audit call has taken place and/or development work has begun, the advance payment (50% of the total engagement fee) is non-refundable. This is because significant professional time — discovery, planning, development, template design — has been invested.

In this case, if you cancel:

  • The advance is forfeited.
  • No balance payment is due (as go-live has not occurred).
  • No deliverables (automation, email templates) are handed over.
  • SheetPilot will remove all scripts from your Google Sheet.

5. After Go-Live

Once the automation is live in your Google account and you have completed the Day 5 handover walkthrough, the engagement is considered successfully delivered. At this point:

  • Both the advance and balance payments are non-refundable.
  • You retain the running automation in your Google account.
  • Your support period begins and runs per your plan (30, 90, or 180 days).

If you are dissatisfied with the automation after go-live, please contact us. We are committed to making it work correctly — all bugs and deviations from the agreed scope are fixed for free during the support period.

6. If We Fail to Deliver

In the unlikely event that SheetPilot is unable to deliver the automation as specified in the Service Agreement due to reasons within our control:

  • We will first make every effort to resolve the issue and deliver what was agreed.
  • If we are genuinely unable to deliver, you are entitled to a full refund of all amounts paid.
  • Refunds in this scenario are processed within 10 business days.

SheetPilot has not failed to deliver any agreed implementation to date. We are transparent about what is technically feasible during the audit call before any payment is made.

7. Support Period Cancellation

The bug-fix support period included in each plan is a service, not a separate subscription. It cannot be cancelled or refunded separately from the main implementation fee.

The Annual Maintenance Contract (₹11,999/year), if purchased separately after go-live, may be cancelled with a pro-rata refund for unused complete months, minus a ₹999 processing fee. To request an AMC refund, email us at support@sheetpilot.in.

8. Changes to Scope (Not Cancellations)

If you wish to reduce the scope of your implementation after work has begun (e.g., remove a planned add-on), please discuss this with us promptly. We will do our best to accommodate scope reductions and may offer a partial credit toward future services. Scope reductions do not entitle you to a cash refund of amounts already paid for work completed.

9. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

  1. Contact us via WhatsApp (+91 88844 06099) or email (support@sheetpilot.in).
  2. State your business name, the date of payment, and the reason for cancellation.
  3. We will respond within 2 business hours on weekdays to confirm receipt.
  4. If a refund is applicable, we will process it within 7–10 business days to the original payment account.

10. Disputes

If you believe a refund has been incorrectly denied, please raise a formal dispute by emailing support@sheetpilot.in with the subject line "Refund Dispute". We will review and respond within 5 business days. Disputes that cannot be resolved directly are subject to the dispute resolution process described in our Terms & Conditions.
