SheetPilot started when our founder — a former ops manager — realised he was spending 3 hours every morning compiling the same report from the same Sheets. There had to be a better way.
Why we exist
In 2022, our founder Arjun was managing operations for a mid-sized garments distributor in Chickpet. Every morning, the same routine: open three Sheets, manually copy numbers into a WhatsApp message, send it to 8 people.
Three hours. Every day. Just to communicate information that was already sitting in a spreadsheet.
He knew Google Apps Script could automate this. He built it in a weekend. The next Monday, the report arrived automatically. Nobody had to do anything. He realised hundreds of Bangalore businesses had this exact same problem.
SheetPilot was built to fill a very specific gap: businesses that are too big to keep doing things manually, but too small (or too sensible) to justify enterprise software.
We work exclusively with Google Sheets. Not because it's the only option — but because it's what Bangalore SMEs actually use, actually trust, and actually understand.
